Part Number:ME87214
Pair of Medela tubes for the Pump In Style Advanced Shoulder Bag or Backpack Breast Pump made before summer 2006, but not the Limited Edition or Metro Breastpumps. You can tell that your pump should use this tube if it has the words "Pump In Style Advanced Breastpump" printed in black across the top of the faceplate. This tube is also used on Symphony Breastpumps.

This tube has one two-tone yellow end that is round in shape, and one end with a cream adapter, and is made of silicone. Because this is a silicone tube -- it is soft and flexible with a cloudy appearance.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Figuring out which Tubes to Buy for your Medela Pump In Style Breastpump
Follow these simple steps to figure out which tubes you need for your Medela Pump In Style Breastpump. If you follow these steps and still aren't sure which tubes to order, e-mail a picture of your breastpump's faceplate to babytalkstore@gmail.com, and we will let you know which tubing is compatible with your breastpump. It's better to be safe than sorry!

STEP 1: Look at the front of your breastpump where you attach the tubes. This part of the breastpump is known as the faceplate. At the top of the faceplate, above any knobs or buttons, you will see the name of the pump printed. Is "Pump In Style" part of that name? If the answer is YES, proceed to STEP 2. If the answer is NO, then you do not have a Pump In Style Breastpump. Please visit our Breastpump Tubing Page to view tubes for other types of breastpumps, or contact us for help.

STEP 2: Does the faceplate of your breastpump say "Pump In Style" or "Pump In Style Advanced"? To rephrase, is the word "Advanced" printed anywhere on the faceplate? If the answer is NO, proceed to STEP 3. If the answer is YES, proceed to STEP 4.

STEP 3: If the name "Pump in Style" is printed on your faceplate, but the word "Advanced" is NOT, then you need MEDELA TUBE 87212/8007212. Click HERE to purchase a pair of tubes, and click HERE to purchase tubes individually. Congratulations: you are FINISHED and can skip the remainder of the steps!

STEP 4: What color are the words "Pump In Style Advanced" printed in? If ALL FOUR WORDS are written in solid black, go to STEP 5. If ANY of those four words are written in another color (Light Blue/Gray/Lavender/Purple), go to STEP 6.

STEP 5: If "Pump In Style Advanced" is printed on the faceplate ENTIRELY IN SOLID BLACK, then you need MEDELA TUBE #8007214, which is a silicone tube with a small, cream-colored adapter on one end, and a slightly larger, cream and yellow adapter on the other end. Click HERE to purchase a pair of tubes, and click HERE to purchase tubes individually. Congratulations, you are finished!

STEP 6: If your faceplate says "Pump In Style Advanced" and ANY of those words are printed in light blue, gray, lavender, or purple, then you need MEDELA TUBE 87212/8007212. To be more specific, if the words "Pump In Style" are printed in a curvy script in light blue/gray/lavender/purple, the word "Advanced" is printed in black, all capital letters underneath "Pump In Style," and there is a teardrop shape in the middle of "Pump in Style," then you need MEDELA TUBE 87212/8007212. Click HERE to purchase a pair of tubes, and click HERE to purchase tubes individually.  If you have followed these steps and still are not sure which tubes to order, please contact us, or e-mail a picture of your faceplate to babytalkstore@gmail.com with a request for assistance.
